This institute was established in 1995 by a highly reputed Public Trust of Gujarat State, “The Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Manadal”, which is well known for its yeoman services in the state. Within a short span of 9 years the Institute has come up to a level of the postgraduate and doctorate studies in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. In the forthcoming years we wish to venture into the thrust areas of research in Biotechnology, biopharmaceutics, molecular pharmacology and combinatorial chemistry.

Professional and clinical pharmacy have already stepped in India and we too plan to start the teaching and practice of clinical pharmacy in this part of the country by making a humble beginning at this institute. This institute has also taken a lead in the area of continuing education for teachers and professional scientists.
