We have conducted two AICTE/ISTE sponsored winter schools (STTPs) for the teachers of pharmacy disciplines :
* Emerging Trends in Pharmacology & Toxicology (November, 1999)
* Recent Advances in Phytochemistry and Pharmacology of Herbal drugs (October 2002)

We also organized two National Workshops on Mathematical Modeling of Pharmacokinetic Data (Nov., 1998) and Pharmacokinetics : Basic Concepts to Applications in Drug Development Research (Sept., 1999) as part of our Continuing Education Programmes for teachers and industrial scientists.

We also organized the following programmes sponsored by the Pharmacy Council of India for professional pharmacists :
* Pharmacists Updating Programme (February, 2000)
* State Level Programme of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Pharmacy Council of India (September, 2000)
* WHO-PCI sponsored Training Programme for Professional Pharmacists (February, 2002)

Another Continuing Medical Education (CME) sponsored by the Medical Council of India in December, 2000

Regional Conference of the Gujarat Chapter of Indian Pharmacological Society (March, 1997)

National Level 33rd Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society (December, 2000) was preceded by two Pre-Conference Workshops on :
* Clinical Pharmacokinetcs &
* New Drug Discovery and Regulatory Affairs in India

National Convention on Current Trends in Herbal Drugs and Annual Conference of Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (January, 2003).

Thus we have made significant contributions in the area of developing a good undergraduate programme vis-a-vis continuing Teaching Programmes for teachers, industrial scientists and professional pharmacists

One day “Knowledge updating for the community and Hospital Pharmacist” workshop for the sponsored by GUJCOST and Ahmedabad Chemist Association. (March 2004)

We also conducted Symposium on “Pharmacognosy and Molecular Pharmacology” (July-2003) [Annual convention of Indian society of pharmacognosy ].

We also organized symposium on “Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” (December-2003). [Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association).

“Atomic Energy Awareness Programme” by Eminent scientists of BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE was also organized (February-2005).

We have organized Refresher course for Pharmacist sponsored by Gujarat State Pharmacy Council, Ahmedabad (September-2005).

We organized GUJCOST sponsored Gujarat State Pharmacy Paper presentation competition in February-2006.
