INFRASTRUCTURE

P. G. Laboratory for Pharmaceutics :

This laboratory has been equipped with most modern equipments for conducting research in the areas of pharmaceutics.
 

C.V. Raman Laboratory of Computer Application in Pharmacy:

This laboratory is equipped with computers equipped with advanced technology for the training of students through computer aided educational soft wares in pharmacy. The teachers and research scholars for various projects also use this facility for their work. Internet facility is also provided for the students and staff to have an access to recent developments.
 

Prof. M. L. Schroff Learning Resource Utilisation Centre:

A well-stocked library with vast collection of textbooks, reference books and latest scientific journals enables the students to gain an insight into the latest happenings of the profession. The collection includes more than 3000 quality books and 31 national journals and 6 international journals.
 
Animal House :
A modern animal house on two floors, with separate forgery, wash area, store for animal food, cages for rats, mice, rabbits and guinea pigs, racks for cages and trolleys etc. has been in function for last five years. It has been air-conditioned for better upkeep and care of lab animals. The animal house has been duly approved by the Committee for the purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiment on Animals (CPCSEA) of the Government of India and every animal experimentation is done only after the approval of Institutional Animal Ethics Committee(IAEC).
 
Brahmani Krupa Auditorium:
The institute also possesses an auditorium with a sitting capacity of 286 persons, and inbuilt facilities of a public address system and audiovisual systems. It has become an ideal setting for conducting scientific seminar and symposia.
 
Administrative Block:
A well laid out institute office with Director’s chamber, waiting room and committee room for routine staff meetings. The office is equipped with modern gadgets like computers, printers, INTERNET, telephones and FAX facilities.

In addition to the various departments and laboratories as mentioned above, the institute provides two lecture halls named after Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and Swami Vivekanand and a seminar room for faculty and post graduates named after Ravindra Nath Tagore. Separate common rooms for both boys and girls with locker facilities are also provided in the institute premises.
